Watnots music is entering an exciting new stage this autumn. With five
musicals published and working well, we felt it was time to go to the
next level!
With some extra investment on board we will be able to really develop
and grow
the company.
From January 2005 Alastair and Sarah will be working full-time on writing and
producing some more musicals and songbooks. Our next project is
inspired
from Sarah's visits to Brazil and the plight of the street children
there. This
musical will explore this social and economic problem, highlighting how
children in other countries live. It will be informative yet hopeful as
we follow
the lives of a family from the slums. Watch out for this vibrant new
show,"Pavement People" out soon.
Angela and Alison who wrote the wonderful Christmas musical, "Little
Baby
King" for nursery aged kids have written their second musical "Sing
About a
Season" for key stage 1 which will also be out shortly.
We also have some new writers joining the Watnots team. So Watnots
music is
growing!
You can now buy our musicals in many music retailers across the country.
Watnots music is also featured in numerous catalogues: Musicline,
Chamberlains
and Brittains. Watch out for our advert in TES coming out this Oct and
also in
the Music Teacher magazine.
Watnots music will be at the Education and Special Needs Show in Olympia
at
the end of September 2004. Thur 30th, Fri 31 and Sat Oct 1st so do come
along
and meet us. The Watnots music stand will be near Starbucks so grab a
